very nice gallery you got going here. i absolutely love your photos, and even though they weren't taken with a very sophisticated camera, they show very good composition and attention to light and color. keep it up! as far as people pictures are concerned... meh, i myself don't take many of those either. but those from hanoi weren't bad... there were some people in those, right people are hard... you just gotta be lucky and catch them unawares i guess. i want to add you to my friends list!

a paleolithic liza-bird in the fourth dimension

okay, so this is the first time i've ever used deviantart, but i figured i'd put up a few of the pics i've taken over the years. photography is a casual hobby of mine, in that i love going out and taking pictures (and have had classes in developing black and white film and some composition), but i don't regularly go out and practice and i don't have very advanced equipment. most of the pictures were taken with just a point-and-click camera (with advantix film), and one or two, like my sunrise picture, were taken with a disposable camera. hopefully i'll be able to start working with both my digital camera and a nice 35mm manual soon.

most of my pictures (if not all) are of nature. i'm horrid at taking pictures of people and tend to avoid it. however, if anyway has suggestions/tips on taking good pictures of people (and of course of landscapes) i'd welcome them. anything you want to suggest regarding color, composition, lighting effects, etc. is welcome.
